Help needed for answering emails...

Post by EuroBillTracker »

Hey everybody... is anyone intersted in helping me reply to the messages going to the support email address ?
Olivier has now gone to canada and is no longer available to help and Craco is quite busy.

I'm taking ages to reply and I only understand english and french... so if you think you can login to the email account at least once or twice a week and maybe answer some messages, PM me...

thanks

Is it possible to redirect the mails to a forum thread (with restricted access) ? There would be no need to log in to a mail account... There could be several helpdesk members ... and the thread would eventually become an EBT knowledge base, so there is no need to retype the same answer over and over ... The hard part : answers should be mailed back to the user who asked the question (since it is not a public forum)

It's just an idea
Time is on our side ...

I'm willing to help awnser some questions. Most of the simple questions won't be to hard for me to awnser. and i could translate some of the more difficult questions to english if neccecary.

but an closed forum section as skylimit proposed would be a good idea too!

yep, i'm very busy with work and my live... too much things to do, things going wrong and so little time available..

So i think it's good that we have some help to answer the e-mails of our users, so that we can give them a better service. So ideally we have a couple of our dear forum-members helping us out here..

IMHO, a private section for answering the mails is not an ideal tool for this, as i have no idea how to redirect the mails to a forum thread, other than copy/paste...

On the other hand, i think a restricted forum can be very interesting to discuss the support problems and other interesting things amongst the EBT-helpers...

I regret I have no more time enough to help regularly. :-(
I have found a appartment, my life here is quite busy since I am now looking for a job.
(You know somebody who needs a clever french boy (and EBT fan) in Montreal, QC, Canada? :-) Write to me! ;-) )

I can still help reading the forum and be assure that everybody is fine...
I can also check the base some times...

Olivier (5200 km far from Europe).

3 weeks ago (or so), I added a bunch of people to the team of email answerers... It seems like no one really is answering any of the contact emails. I am too busy at work these days to answer...

Could you guys try to check emails at least once a week each ? There are about 10 of us or so so that means that someone would answer at least every day...

thanks

I am looking at the forum everyday (and have moderated some messages this morning... :? ) ... But I don't have the time to read the mails...
I am looking for a job for the moment. I have some interesting opportunities, but it takes me all my time! :o

Oh, I've tried. I don't know whether it's my internet connection or what but I've managed to logon to the email answering site only twice :(

I could perhaps help too, though I'd mostly only have time at the weekend. How does one go about this?

I could also help. I would have at least some time everyday. I even sent a pm to webmaster about this when this topic was new, but nothing happened

I understand. Take your time! Of course work must be a top priority and you need some free time as well
