Just an idea... (Has this been suggested by someone already? I didn't read through the whole thread...)

Although I realize that this is not one of the most important things to do, but considering the popularity of this thread: would it be difficult to program a counter to the maps, showing the amount of dots on them?

I mean, there's already some calculation going on for adjusting the colour scale to the user's total amount of notes as well as placing the dots to the correct coordinates on the map. Could the amount of dots be easily enough derived from the variables involved in those calculations?

I like Craft's idea and I support it. There is plenty of open space in the Atlantic Ocean to display a message like "313 dots".

I have only 7 dots so far, 6 of them are close together in Germany, the 7th is on Gran Canaria.
