You should travel by E67 once, better known as Via Baltica. It goes from Tallinn to Prague. There is no motorway at all apart from the last 50 km close to Prague.
In Poland the road goes through villages where is a 50 km/h speed limit. It is very, very far from being motorway. I know some Finnish local roads which are better than E67 anywhere in Poland.

The Via Baltica is under heavy construction in Latvia and Lithuania. Also be prepared for very bumpy roads in Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.

Well, there are several very tiny roundabouts on the Finnish main road number 4. I think also that road has an E-code. Probably it's the same E67 :D
In Italy administrators are to make the way narrower in order to make people go less fast in the streets but moroever it's really dangerous if people wants to go on with the same speed of the past

Passi per quello sfigato di Marin, passi per quella zoccola della Bruni, passi per una fabbrica di debito come Alitalia ma EBT NO!(Manadou sta gran zoccola)

How many people die on the roads like the one on the second picture?
Not very many - it's very hard to speed on these roads, especially at night!
The majority of accidents happen on N roads - these are the national, non-Motorway roads. They have 100kph limit, but most people go way faster than that:
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.
