There are 2 commemorative coins of 5 euro in circulation in Finland :

Ice Hockey World Championship (2004)

Athletism World Championship in Helsinki (2005)

I also search these 2 coins.

They aren't in circulation. Only the special editions of the 2 € coin enter circulation. These both are available only from Finnish mint and retailers.

I have with me a french catalog of eurocoins which says that they have been made to be put in circulation.

Here are the mintages :
5 euro Ice Hockey World Championship (2004) = 150.000 coins

5 euro Athletism World Championship in Helsinki (2005) = 169.995 coins

These numbers are very low and can be the reason why you can't find them in circulation but only in retailers...

No, never in circulation. They were sold to collectors and later the mint tried to buy ice-hockey coins back.

I have that ice-hockey coin. I bought it from the Moneta mint.

Those coins were never put in circulation in the usual sense. No shops ever got them. The only way they could be got was by buying them from the mint or from a post office for nominal value.
In theory that is putting them in circulation, because the money is "circulating" when it's in some collector's closet. Just like a 20€ note could be said to be in circulation if someone withdrew one from a bank and put it in his money collection closet. That means it isn't in any bank's vaults, anyway :)

But moneta is just a huge pile of goosepoo. I wouldn't recommend doing anything that has to do with it.. (the only exception being the coins that are in completely normal circulation). If you ever let them know of you, your snail mail box will be full of advertisements and you will get "please buy this stupid piece of metal" calls about once a month.

You forgot to mention: for a price that is way over the real market value, or any value that the piece of metal will ever reach, however far in the future. :P

By the way, there are quite a few Portuguese €5 coins as well. Most of them have been issued in the Unesco (Patrimonio Mundial) series. You can get them at face value in Portugal but, as in Finland, they do not circulate. Part of the "problem" is that these pieces are legal tender in the issuing member state only. So you cannot use a Finnish €5 piece for a payment in, say, Germany, or a German €10 coin in Portugal, etc. That works with the circulation and €2 commemorative coins only ... and with the notes of course. :)
