As things currently are, it's a rather clumsy procedure to add information more than 48 hours after inserting the banknote. Would it not be a good thing to make that easier? Then people could add information if they have moved the banknote a long way or if they have spent it in an interesting way.

If you have interesting information, just enter it from the beginning. Or forget about it.
Entering a note is not to be mixed up with writing an e-mail to a friend.

Wednesday i spent a bill I had registered a week ago at almost 10km of the first place. Knowing this if I have a hit ( ) with that bill and it says it travelled 10 km in a week it would be false since I took it strait to the new tracker.

Some of my notes travel a long way.... often I pick up notes on one trip to Europe, they return to Newcastle with me, and then I take them on my next European trip.

My recent €20 notes from Schiphol will travel with me to Belfast this weekend - I might exchange them there, or I might swap them with a (non-EBT) friend who I'm meeting who lives in Austria. So if there is a Amsterdam to Vienna hit, it will be via Newcastle and Belfast!

Upon reception of a bill, I only register it, including the place where I got it. Only after having spent it, I enter it at EBT. Thus, we have the necessary information. Indeed, some spending information might be interesting. Find here an example what I write in Excel before entering the note here:
