OK, I tried to be a bit provocative, but it's just because I haven't seen anything beeing done to this in so long time (so it seems that the case is being forgotten). I hate false information in EBT. And I strongly disagree with entering notes like this. So I wanted to boost up a little this discussion and maybe see some ending in it.

This ain't any direct attack against the user involved here. Just the way of entering notes wrong IMO.

EDIT: As rough as the Nerzhul's words may seem at first glance, I really enjoyed the reaction he showed here. There's no better word to describe this.

Why is this suspicious? Because there are only a few notes hosted by both sites, having at least 6 ET-Hits within only some 8000+ entries is far away from every probability and should be checked.
Well, then I fear these hits are reconstructed by ET, maybe some lucky ones are between...

All these could have been hits...and so in your logic this user tried to reconstruct hits from eurotracer and luckily ever after he sometimes found a hit, even if his hitpartner isn't the one he expected...so he is a faker and should be banned? Or otherwise...this "black magic ET-thing" does not prove a simple thing.... just give it up...PLEASE!!!!!

Eurotracer is still going strong? Can't they stop and enter their banknotes with their date of entry in EBT?

If you look carefully at the notes entered by Guest you will see something that makes fraude a little less likely:
Take a glimse at:

http://www.eurobilltracker.eu/index.php ... id=5932701
http://www.eurotracer.net/statistics/no ... ow=X&col=5

The user, nor the location, nor the date in ET is the same as entered on EBT.
If this note would have been entered by Rufus50 in both EBT as ET, he must have kept it for a year, changed his name and moved since.

this hit is a little strange..

Henk/Bep made the note as a first entry in Leerdam.
Nightstalker is from the same town (Leerdam) , but found the note 23 days later in North Italy..
If you can't solve it it's not a problem..

Translation: As long as I am exposed to such suspicions as well, I will not register any notes anymore.

To check if a "simillar" note has been registered at ET, takes too much effort!

Maybe someone can translate this for the English users.

Maybe the hitlocations should be Leerdam twice.

http://www.eurobilltracker.eu/index.php ... id=5932701
http://www.eurotracer.net/statistics/no ... ow=X&col=5

For the rest:
I translated my original text to German, because it was misunderstood.
If you quote only part of the text it can be taken out of it original context very easily.

@guest and all the Eurotracer-witchhunters:
PLEASE STOP THE WHOLE THING, YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THIS!

There are 900.000 notes entered in Eurotracer, if you search for the 4 digits that you see in a EBT note, you will get 90 results in average! How can you think that anyone says that the result list of these 90 ET notes tells you anything about the EBT note? That's bullshit.

this is how the whole thing started, look at it:
here, the EBT notes are not only entered in ET, but are each one a hit there (indicated by red line), and I posted more than one EBT note that were entered by the faker in a series (indicated by consecutive note-id-s)
That is the point, you notice the difference?

It's possible to enter notes at EBT where the visible 4 digits are also in ET notes, but it's not possible to enter 10 notes in a row where the 4 visible digits are the same as in one of 200 ET hit notes each.

I don't know anything about Eurotracer, but it occured to me over the last few months that user Postkutsche has 17 hits, many international ones, with only 1300 notes entered. For living in a remote part of Eastern Germany that is highly unlikely.

In some of his hit notes there are comments by the hit partner that the note was also entered on Eurotracer. See his latest hit: http://www.eurobilltracker.eu/index.php ... d=16034334

You think there is any connection between Eurotracer and his suspicious hit ratio?

I left the last link as proof of your plea.
The ET note was entered by joergB30 from Kassel.
He is also a great EBT-user. (Profile).
So if the two links refer to the same note you would expect it to be a hit with joergB30, wich it is NOT.

Therefore I agree with your statement.

@ Economist

I am not one of those ET misuse experts, but if you search this thread for Postkutsche, there is a long discussion going on about just this link. And it occurs to me that there is good reason to believe that not everything is correct with his account.

I had a hit with him some time ago, with a note I have also entered at ET (I stopped doing that quite some time ago). Well, there probably cannot be a 100% proof this hit was faked, but in this case chances seem to be very high, and the hit was moderated, so he has at least 18 hits.....
