Well, just investigating a little found that the second international Spanish hit was also a Switzerland-Spain...
It's the one and only other Spain-non € country hit

Did get the first hit in EBTs history from the country of the Sagas
Congrats! Too bad it's just three days between. Looks quite poor...Nomen Nescio wrote:Did get the first hit in EBTs history from the country of the Sagas

This is a very nice hit and congrats to both of them. One thing I still wonder is that, how did wisi get so many notes from UK? Are those really received from UK and not some other country (and then entered in UK), like this sad case had.
I'm just curious. Thanks for any information and still greetings to both.

No, this is really received there (by a person I trust 100%). Just a conincidence that it came from close to my living place, what might be due to the quite big number of british soldiers in this area... and just these days you see many english cars here, so I guess there are many former soldiers here for a holday. Still, it is a funny and odd hit.
@wisi: I trust your words about the realness of the notes. I just wonder how one can get so many notes in the UK? From a bank? From money change office? elsewhere? As I have understood from lazza's talk, it's pretty hard to get few notes not to mention few hundreds of notes from UK. This is something I still wonder a bit.
(Please understand that if there's some special way getting so many euros there, I'd like to learn it and maybe take advantage of it later myself...

I guess if someone wisi knows works at a foreign exchange counter, or in a bank, or even in a travel agents, they will see a lot of Euros.... I only find it "difficult" to get notes because I don't use them so often and so it's not necessary for me to go to the bank a lot. Also the exchange rate that I get for Euro notes is a lot worse than if I buy something in Europe directly with a credit or debit card, so when I travel, I can only justify taking cash to cover small costs. Also, it's a little harder to "dot hunt" because you have to find a place with a Foreign Exchange (this is usually only cities and big towns) - then, just buying 1 x €5 (to get your dot) is kind of strange, and buying a lot more gets expensive!Klazu wrote:@wisi: I trust your words about the realness of the notes. But often, when I go to banks for my foreign exchange, I see huge bundles of notes, and often wonder if any are tracked ....
By the way.... cool hit wisi (I knew you would a British hit soon, as I keep seeing all the UK notes you enter!)
