But, serials of :note-200: in Tamines, did sound like Darthced...

We could even create a new game "Guess the faker" !

By the way, the latest French hit looks too good to be true : eric viviane has entered 3 bills and its profile says he has got 2 hits ?

If he would be living in finland, it would still be possible, but Bedouin is located in South-France...

Could anyone check this, please ?

Especially when you know that his other hit is this one.

Same hitpartner, same value.

@kredithai: Don't you worry. The hit is real at least from my side. And I have no doubts about aplfi either. The note is in very good condition despite it's age. I still have it, so I can take a photo of it if someone doubts me.

I use brand new to describe also notes that are not uncirculated. We have this word "upouusi" (brand new) in finnish and for me it means uncirculated or nearly as new. So the note is in very very good shape and will have a long life ahead.

Read the other forums to know more about my stay in Germany.

Quite frankly, Klazu, this would be an excellent opportunity for you to drop that misleading usage of the term "brand new" and reserve that only for notes that are truely brand new.

Yeah, it's not like it's the first time.

Yeah, maybe it would be, but I don't feel so. I'm not willing to change my customs, because I want also my old notes to follow the current standard. And it's impossible to go back and change note comments to match the real case in every situation (some of them were of course uncirculated, some just very very new). So I'm going to keep my way, sorry. If I would now start this hobby from the beginning, I would use another commenting system, but that's not the case.

I also doubt my note commenting (which aims to give all of us more fun and information) causes any problems for you. Most of you know me from such a long time (hey, almost 6000 posts here), you shouldn't ever doubt my entries. They are for real and that's all you need to know. If I (one user of 90 799 other) use a bit misleading comments for my notes, it's not even worth mentioning. You should be able to live with it, I think.

So maybe there's no point to keep this conversation going on. If you want any extra information any time, please just ask me. I'm always willing to tell you about my note adventures.

You may now extinguish the pyre under me, please.

I only use "brand new" when I get notes from a bank or ATM.

In all other cases I use "As good as new" in my comment field. (At least if they look new  )

@Klazu: If you change your standard, you can see by the date of entry which standard would apply. Before 2 september old standard, after 2 september new standard.

Ok, sorry, I went slightly offtopic with this

@ Klazu : In French we have a saying that says "Only fools don't change their mind"...

I have a suggestion :

let's ask to CEN, the Europe Standardisation Committee, to set up a European Working group for the standardisation of comments on EBT ; after 5 years of intensive expert work, we will have a unified method of comments, that will be implemented in all member states...

Sorry, it was just that I felt like being on work duty again...
