Bus tragedy in Hong Kong

Post by eurobillsandcoins »

Ah, this is horrible, yesterday morning, on the Tuen Mun-Tsuen Wan highway, a Kowloon Motor Double Decker Bus headed for Tsuen Wan was cut off by a cargo truck during a sharp turn near the Ting Kau bridge. The bus tipped onto the railing and hung there for about 20 seconds, broke off the railing and plunged 50 metres into a small village. After that more than half the bus was stuck in the ground. 19 people died instantly including the driver. Most who died where school children going to school. (sigh), Now I will never sit at the top of the bus anymore in the front.
Hong Kong-Asia's world city.
