Maybe it would be better to ban these notes, that have been published in magazines etc. There are a few of them in database. More people will surely enter these same notes in future.

I cannot believe this... Marsipulami1000 is like the inventor of the fake bill... He was in the very first 3 hit bill, with odranmartin that went from austria to dublin and then back to Germany ... Meanwhile this bill has been hit like 10 times ... Why not simply lock his account and delete the Bills

This evening he made a tour around Europe
Lisboa (which is now in Spain)
St Petersburg & Moskva
Vilnius, Riga & Tallin (well if you visit one country, also do it's neighbours)
Belfast, Hants, London, Edinbrugh, Birminham (all in Macedonia  )
Sarajevo, Bratislava, Praha
and Rome (which is now in Vatican City)
Time is on our side ...

i am not posting URL's any more until i discover how that has to be done properly.

french users "thibault" and "albert schmidt" have three hits with eachother
belgian users "kalty" and "odyma" have two hits with eachother
germans "frechnase" and "taifuni" also have two hits with each other

when you look closer to the details of those users, i guess it's time to ask for an explanation...

Hi, jules

Well, avij was in fact a bit rude in his previous post, but he might be fed up with so many people posting the annoying phpsessionIDs. He's a GREAT admin of all things EBT related, and I've never seen a post of his that harsh -- I assumed you prevaricated too damn much, but maybe avij was just in a bad day.

The answer is simple, though (and it really should be made clear somewhere in this "Post a reply" page): whenever you copy and post an url from EBT, like this

strip everything (I mean, delete) that seems rubbish in the end, after the last "&" sign. command=32 means the kind of page and id=1412897 means the person in this case. &-554a91050a72e84c1239b8689f3ef680 is the phpsessionID to be deleted. (Note that I just put "http://www." within parentheses so that the url wasn't automatically posted as a link.)

So this should look like this:

http://www.eurobilltracker.eu/index.php?command=32

I hope I've made this clear. If not, feel free to ask.

Cheers!

Actually http://www.eurobilltracker.eu/index.php ... id=1412897 would be the correct link by your example

Sorry, I guess I've had a lot of bad days recently and I thought most people posting to the forum would know about this problem by now, and my message was meant as a reminder. I felt that I've written about this problem countless times and I didn't want to write a lengthy message about it again. Here is one of my messages that explains why I don't like the PHPSESSID string in URLs.

On the other hand, I see they both live in Lahti, a city with 96.000 residents. They have been entering 12.681 notes together (7494/5187). What is the chance that they have 4 hits with each other by accident? I still believe this chance is very small, but if it really happened coincidentally, it makes those hits interesting again. Let's wait untill one of them reacts on the disappearences of their hits.

If you've seen 4 hits between them, it's only a tip of an iceberg. Actually they've hit each other several times during a longer period of time, but I've never seen either of them complain about the moderation, although it seems to be done "automatically" between the two. On the other hand, I think that the case is quite similar between the users Eufrl and Search who hit each other frequently but whose hits are sometimes moderated, sometimes not. They work for the same employer (if I remember correctly), having thus access to same notes. Their notes don't seem to move on the map (hardly interesting for the other users then?), and in a town of some 165.000 inhabitants, they hit each other 7 times using 3515 + 960 notes (not counting the already moderated hits). In the name of equal treatment, don't you think that these should be moderated as well?

I personally think that the hits between Eufrl and Search shouldn't be moderated. There is no direct connection between those two. They don't hand the money from one user to the other. If we were to moderate those hits, we probably have to moderate also the hits between bhoeyb and homer, they have themselves also five or six or ?? hits between them. No all those players play it honest so leave the hits unmoderated.

Don't you think it's normal that users living/working/going out in the same area have greater chance to get multiple hits between eachother? I do think so too. That fact makes it interesting as well...

To compare this quoted situation with eufrl and search: Groningen has 175.000 residents. Eufrl and search entered 4.475 notes (960/3515). What is the chance that they have 7 hits with each other by accident? Not very big I believe. Is it possible?
