I heard somebody calling my name??

The forum has been behaving terrible.. We have been put by OVH onto the MySQL-server for big databases as our DB had grown to 38,5MB. This server is sometimes heavily loaded as we can all experience..

Thank you for coming to the rescue so quickly So, this means these problems are pretty much the same which the main site experienced before being moved to avij's company, right? Those that said 'upgrade or die'? Hmmm... In some way, this is very nice, since it shows how far the site and the forum have grown, but I hate it when I have to remain forumless - it makes me grumpy

A friend of mine, who owns a very large bulletin board, once tried to explain how there's often a build-up of errors which slows sites down and can even put them "off-air". I didn't understand the first thing about it, but maybe you do.

We had a good laugh at the time at some "conculega's" whose site crashed straight after the launch and didn't work properly for at least a week to ten days before they and their professional bureau solved it - the same way my friend did: just deleting those errors on a regular basis.
