Gladly again! :D
Thanks for finding this bill, the 3. hit ever between Slovenia and Germany by the way.
I still remember that post-office in Ljubljana well, my girlfriends was writing postcards and I thought I could use the time to change some bills
Do you remember where you found it?
Best wishes from Germany,
Lars (L&F)
I believe I got it at a post office at main bus station when I used it to send some postage (like 100 envelopes or more  ) for bussines purposes, paid with a €20 note and got this €5 back :D

I usually get most of the notes from post office or at bank counter/ATM because my bussines is always connected whit one or another (but I'm not working there  )

Michael Manske has put info about EBT on his Glory of Carniola (which is a nice blog in English from an American that moved to Slovenia, BTW), see Where Are Your Euros Going?.

(All these new users have meant that Slovenia overtook UK in the country ranking early today, and will go past Switzerland very soon (by the end of the day, maybe...?) and probably past Luxembourg next week
Yesterday, Slovenia went past Ireland on the Country ranking, into 11th place... closing fast on Greece...

EDIT:  didn't read the other posts first! :P

Just look next April for an Italian rented car around there, if you see a guy changing money every 50 kms and a (very nice) girl by his side with a face meaning "oh my God, we stop again!", that's me and my girlfriend...
Thank you all and I hope to be there next April!
Well, just rented the car this morning, so everything is closed. I'll spend the first week of April in Slovenia! I have an apartment in Bohinjska Bistrica 8O , I hope it's a nice place, it looked good in the photos
I'll visit some places you mentioned, thank you again for all that nice info!
Anyway, just find my notes!!!

Bohinjska Bistrica is really a nice place. And around there you can find a lot of parts which are very beautiful.

What is your plan? Where will you go?

Well, by now only sure is that I have one night of hotel in Venice, another in Graz, another one in Salzburg and four in Bohinjska Bistrica (how the hell is this pronounced? )
Regarding the Slovenian part of my travel we'll surely spend a day in Ljubljana and, if we have time, we'll visit any small medieval town nearby, if there is any. The rest, I'm trying to decide with my girlfriend. We are thinking about going to one of those caves you mentioned, we also would like to go to one of those lakes near that place... Just deciding right now... I'll let you know, so you'll be able to look properly for my notes

A castellano transliteration will be something like "Bojiñska Bistriza" :)

Hope it helps!

[quote="pepitopulpitoiBohinjska Bistrica (how the hell is this pronounced? )[/quote]

For english speakers something like Boheenska Bistritsa (stres on the second syllable in Bohinjska and on the first in Bistrica).

The place itself is nothing special, but a few kilometres away there is Bohinj lake (don't forget to look at it from above, from Vogel) and on the other side the famous Bled lake.

Try with "Boheenskah Beestreetsah" (we can now all witness the exceptional efficiency of Slovene writing system in which one letter usually represents one sound), or ask the first Slovene policeman you spot as soon as you reach the border crossing.
