Back to the topic. I am a bit pissed at the visa treatments. If it comes to women visiting our zone with a Schengen visa, it seems that they are generally seen as economic refugees who have nothing more urgent to do than to marry just some man from here while on the other side any man who wants to invite his girl friend, let`s say from Asia, is a mere human trader.
So I know a young woman from Thailand who has been learning German very diligently for almost one year now. She does not really plan to stay here at all cost but she is ready to go back home. (She misses her home and her family) But to increase her chances in her part of Thailand she wishes to acquire the "Small German Language Diploma". It would take her another three months to get this and she would have increased chances to get a better job in her country.
But our authorities are very strict and they send her home, stating that she can acquire this in Bangkok, too. But this ain`t that easy. It is 800 kmrs. away from her home town and she knows nobody in Bangkok. Course fees as well as the cost of livelyhood are much to expensive for her or the family while here everything is arranged for her.
I also know other stories from European and Asian people who have met, got married in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines... , people who are serious, no human traders, no marriage-prostitutes. European "Rights" force them to live separated for a year and even longer as authorities here cause them nothing but troubles as they are unable to respect the materital rights of other countries, not recognizing marriages under another law.
Guess that this legislation is a European and not merely German one. Oh yes, and when places like Southeast Asia come up again, our politicians will stand in line having appointments with Asian leaders. If these leaders will have the guts to ask them point-blankly why they act this kind of racist against their people?
Once again, not every Asian woman is a marital prostitute and not every western man is a kind of trader only!
