Anyone else used this?
I stumbled on another website recently which allows users to track any currency. I have been using it for a little while, and I like it. I think that they need some kind of statistics system or something, but otherwise I really like it.
I was just curious if anyone else here has tried it?
Its at: http://www.thedollarspy.com/

I think it's better to take the original: www.wheresgeorge.com
There you got a lot of statistics.

I like the idea to track ANY currency at one site but unfortunately you're able to track from US-locations only so I failed to check some foreign note-data

Yep, and there is no mention of anything other than dollars on that site. I don't believe one can track anything else than dollars there...ErGo wrote:But then Moneyspy would be the better name than DollarspyLicht & Feuer wrote:I like the idea to track ANY currency at one site ...![]()

That's the same reason, why I still have some Pound-notes: On the site www.doshtracker.co.uk you can only fill in the data within Brittain.Licht & Feuer wrote:I like the idea to track ANY currency at one site but unfortunately you're able to track from US-locations only so I failed to check some foreign note-data![]()

Why aren't all the trackingsites as international as Eurobilltracker.com is?

Hmm, according to Where's George http://www.wheresgeorge.com/cool_links.php , Dosh Tracker is no longer active ...eddydevries wrote:On the site www.doshtracker.co.uk you can only fill in the data within Brittain.
Where's George is "international" in that you can select a location (country/city) outside the US and Canada. You are then assigned some bogus ZIP code. Worked fine when I did it last time; I am not a registered user there though.

Enter your pounds to FindLizzy. It's an international tracking site for the UK pounds.eddydevries wrote:That's the same reason, why I still have some Pound-notes: On the site www.doshtracker.co.uk you can only fill in the data within Brittain.

Allthough I can't enter WHERE in the Netherlands I got the note, it's better than nothing: I registered there and entered the notes (no hits
(luckyly I could write it in the comment).
It strikes me that one note was found 30 times. In so many different countries, so it seems to me it's a fake hit.
I would almost think, the webmaster entered that note to show what's possible.

Well - maybe they have some competition like ' which group is the first to get one note travelled around the whole world/us/europe whatever. Could be some guys wanting to have fun...eddydevries wrote:soilian wrote: It strikes me that one note was found 30 times. In so many different countries, so it seems to me it's a fake hit.
