A friend of mine is a coin-collector.
He's still trying to lay his hands on a 1 and a 2 cents coin from Finland for his collection, but they are very hard to find.
Anyone got one of those?

I think it's because they never had their own currency...
Andorra is just a "city" and I think they accepted both French Francs and Spanish Pesetas...

And I think they don't have their own mint machines...

It's just because untill 1992 Andorra was not a country but a "territory" under two princes: the bishop of Urgel (spain) and ... the french president (the kings of france were prince of Andorra since Henri IV).
Andorra is really independant and is member of the United Nations since their constitution reform of 1992.
Though Andorra had never had its own currency and will never have one.

In the past, Liechtenstein was linked more with Austria. The prince of Liechtenstein is also the last monarch of the "Saint Empire Romain Germanique" (ended in 1806 by the emperor Josef II of Austria).
Now, Liechtenstein is linked with Switzerland, as Monaco is linked with France and St Marino with Italy...

I like this micro-states. I think it funny to visit.
