I'm testing right now the NIG1.64 beta version, and this bug is solved.

Thanks, Bobtail :D

just a small "bug" (not really a bug, just an omission) in the 1.64 beta release:

Combination bingo
5 F/P :flag-at: :flag-nl:.....7.....:note-5:.......5x :note-5: 2x :note-500:.......2/1

F/P :note-500: is a correct and existing combination, so could you please change that, Bobtail?

A little bug in the beta version of NIG1.64: in the Trivia page, the numbers in the table "Alphabets of locations" must be increased of 1 to obtain the right amount.

As noted in the italian forum, the new version of NIG now ignores big and small letters in the location section but in the Hit by location section, the difference is still present.

After enterd my notes from Liechtenstein, I discoverd that I made some mistakes in the NIG code file of this tiny country.
There are only 11 municipalities (not 13).

The corrected file : codes_liechtenstein.txt

there are 13 different postal codes

Problem nr. 1:
The solution to a very annoying problem has created a new (old) problem too..... :(

The case-sensitiveness of placenames has been solved now. I don't have any longer three entries for one location (Herk-de-Stad, Herk-de-stad and Herk-De-Stad)

New old problem that returned now is the fact that all locations with the same name are put together. This problem was once solved.....

I have a few notes from Hasselt NL and I lived for over a year in Hasselt BE. All these bills can now be found under Hasselt NL. So my number three city in Belgium has disappeared.

Haren NL, Haren DE and Haren BE are also put together.

Would it be possible to take those apart again? Or at least those from different countries?

Problem nr. 2:
Several countryfiles don't load anymore.
These are the original files from the zipfile.

Haren, Germany is also known as Haren (ems).

20;2002;S****9995***;'t anker afgestort akerk;2007-09-10 22:14:20;Holtum;Netherlands;6123;J011E6;35579524;1;0;52.144649505615;8.1395750045776

I know the official name of Haren in Germany but that still does not fix all my problems.

Your problem however is totally unrelated to NIG.

This is just an unknown city in the EBT City Database.
In fact there are four different Holtum known and all of these are in Germany. The dot is put in between those locations. This works for larger cities but not for these cases. I will enter your Dutch Holtum now in the database and your dot will appear on the correct location.

A little warning for Geocities users:

Geocities has a problem with the statistics NIG creates. Apparently, there are too many links pointing to our beloved tracking site. If you don't want your Geocities account to be cancelled, it's better not to publish NIG statistics on Geocities..

I have (had) no problems. It is just that do not have the link in my profile anymore. Problem is that apperantly nobody visits my website. My website could be reached. How do i know, because my "akerk"-supplier can see (could) the website on his mobile gadget. Because of lack of feedback i have removed the link. But maybe times have changed. I will give it a try when i have the time.
