Well, since not many people seem to post in this part of the forum lately I hope this will help a bit.

Holiday, what is an holiday, no time time to go on a real holiday this year

Koko kesänä vain viikon loma. Silloin poimin hilloja. Pidän lopun "kesälomasta" lokakuussa. Eikä matkoja tiedossa.
Ehkä käyn vain ostoksilla Ruotsin puolella Haaparannalla. Lyhyt reissu, tunnin ajo yhteen suuntaan.

A week's holiday in July. I´ll be picking cloudberries then. Rest of my "summer holiday" is in october. No long trips to foreign countries.
Maybe only I'll go shopping in Haparanda, Sweden. By car it takes one hour to get there.

Hiljaistahan täällä on, mutta seteleitä sentään tulee Suomesta kiitettävästi.

Yes, it´s quiet here. Nice thoug that so many bills are entered from Finland.

Lomaan enää yksi päivä! Pitäiskö tänä kesänä repäistä ja katsoa tangomarkkinat, osallistua sääskentapon mm-kisoihin ja hakea Helsingin taiteiden yössä pullosta päähän. Akankannon kisat ovat muuttuneet niin ammattilaisiksi ultrakevyine ilmavaimoineen , että ainoa jännitysmomentti on enää minkä maan tv-yhtiöt ovat tänä vuonna kisoja kuvaamassa. Onkohan pesäpallon tiimoilta syntynyt jo sopu?

One day left before the vacation! Maybe I should tear this summer and see the tango market place, take part in the mosquitoslaughter world championship festivals, and get a bottle in my head from the Helsinki night of the arts. Trouble and strife carrying race has become so professional with their ultra light wives , that the only excitement momentum is which broadcasting companies have sent their crew to film the festival this year. I wonder if baseball already rests in peace?

No holiday for me either.
At work , we 're re-arranging our warehouse and that's why I have to work a lot of extra hours.

But I'm planning to have a few days of at Christmas/New Year.

Maybe I'll visit Scotland once again...
