"Hit" from Sri Lanka!!

Post by lmviterbo »

I've just registered a note that has been in Sri Lanka!

How do I know this? Because right over the shortcode there's a stamp reading WENNAPUWA HNB 110. That is Hatton National Bank's Wennappuwa branch (don't know what 110 means). On the back, over the fat 50, another stamp with three encircled Ms.

I guess I'll keep this note, at least for a while.

:D

(btw, I misregistered the zipcode :? -- it was acquired in 1050-030, in fact)

EDIT: Updated the link to HNB's branch network webpage.

That's really cool. Always interesting when things are written or stamped onto a note. It does tell something about the 'life' of the note, even without it being entered at EBT.

If one day the notes I have spent or received in Hongkong and Dubai will be tracked here? Would be cool...
