Great, especially the 'simple' and 'advanced' tabs! But the text above the text area refers to a help text that's missing...
And, strange thing: The first character in the printer code field is not treated tolerantly (e.g. try oooo or iiii and you'll get O000 or I111)...

:)

Yeah, sorry but that definatly would cause too many errors. The day I changed the original form and made 5 euros the default value, I got tons of emails asking for corrections so I'd rather not put defaults at all

And even before a full help file is available, maybe you could paste here an example of a list of notes that can be transferred to the form from the bottom box. At least I keep getting an error whatever format I use:

Line: 75
'documents.notes.elements[...].value' is null or not an object

...but the form itself is excellent :!:

D'oh, that sounds like an error in the JavaScript code, I'll look into that once I get off from work.. Meanwhile, have a look at http://miuku.net/misc/massinsert4.html and see if it exhibits the same problem, the help texts are also in place on that page.

Hey, I just noticed something...
Isn't it so that there are no serials ending on a '0' ?
Well, on the form, if you enter a serial which ends on a zero, it is accepted (the background turns green) !

Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but I never had a note ending on a zero.
So maybe you can change this, so an ending zero isn't accepted ?

Just a little idea :D

how quick is it ?

How long does it take to insert 10 bills ? It looks like it can take many tens of seconds from what I see in the list. Maybe I should change the SQL to INSERT DELAYED... so that inserts are instantaneous !

It seems to me that the MIF (Massa Insert Form) is working well and people start using it.

Congrats !

Mr Euro

It will give me the account-info page, but with all the fields empty.
Edwin, are you serious ?? What country were you trying to enter ?
And clicking on "advanced" gives the account info page ???
I didn't want to enter a country, just going to the advanced option, and then I got in the account info page.

I tried again, just a few minutes ago, and the problem was over. Now to find zillions of notes to put in ;)

PS My internet connection failed, so I couldn't post any sooner.

[Edit: the I tried again line was added]
One step done, many more to go

I use the same, IE6. I didn't enter the list like you described, but now I did, and got the same error.

Actually in the form itself I got red backgrounds for all short codes, no background change for the serial numbers, but the values were accepted and entered correctly into my list of notes.

This page works as expected, both transfer and bg colours.

:?: I don't get it.. it is treated tolerantly if you enter oooo and get oh-zero-zero-zero back (though it's invalid, entering oooooo would yield o000o0 which would be technically speaking correct and thus turn green). Or am I missing something again?

Sounds like the element indexing is a bit off. Looking at the code, the only significant change between my code and the one on EBT is the addition of one hidden form input field, input type="hidden" name="command" value="524800". I'd guess if that hidden field was moved to the end of the form, just before </form>, it'd most probably work for you as well. Interesting nevertheless..

I can't reproduce the error on my own MSIE6 on NT4 and W2k, haven't tried it on Win98 though.
