I am writing an article on wikipedia about the euro starter kits - please if you have some information about each country and maybe better photos, i would appreciate if you can help me! well you can even write it/ upload yourself

The German Wikipedia version has some info about euro starter kits here:

Nice piece of work!

For the part in the Netherlands your almost right.

There was a free one for every person of the Netherlands (I believe for 18y and older), containing the 8 different coins. This was not only for collectors.

But let me think about it in more detail - I can probly also provide some pics about the different startersets, but I will have to come back onto that later.

I would appreciate if any further details are fortified by sources. I would also appreciate if you forward me any self-taken photos of starter kits so we dont have copyright problems

Let me remind that it would also be extremely helpful if you could translate the article in your own language(s)!

As soon as my exams are over, I swear I'm going to add it to the Italian wiki as well as the Esperanto one.

yes that's a good idea but lets first make the english version better
once i translated in maltese the article about the Maltese Euro

Hello Melkitus, I do have some information for you:

The Spanish starterkits were available sice 15th-dec-2001
It has 43 coins for a total value of 12,02€ (which was 1999.96 pesetas) but It was sold by 2000 pesetas.

AND there were other starterkits for merchants which were available on 1st-September-2001 whose value was 30.41€ (5 060 pesetas)

By the way... the Spanish name for the €uro Starter kits is "Monedero Euro"
