Exactly my point.
I'd understand this better if the coins were minted with Italian national side.
But in the other hand, if the coins are already minted, it's a bit hard reminting them with a different national side and doing what has now been done may very well be the only reasonable option.
I'd just hope the NCBs knew better how much they need each coin type, so that they could order coins from other mints in advance with their own national side, if their own capasity isn't enough.

Wow I have my first french 2003 eurocoin!!!!!! :lol: :lol: (I still don't have any 2002 :cry: )

Yes, and it will be easier to collect foreign Euro coins... Which I just dislike. The coins really should travel between different countries by natural circulation, not onboard a truck.

I have today found my 4th Belgium 2003 coins.
It is a 2 euro.

I never look at coins' years, but yesterday I noticed that I had a German 50ct from 2003.

I look on all the coins the year.
I have only find 2,10,20c coins 2003 Germany

In France I received French 1c, 2c & 10c 2003, Luxembourg 5c & 50c 2003 (with a nice error :D ) and Spain 10c 2003.

After the 50c Luxembourg 2004 last week now I have a 50c 2003.
My brother gave me that coin today. (I think out of the cashdek of his work.
