My list:

Dial M for Murder (A. Hitchcock, with Grace Kelly)
Dead Poets society (carpe diem)
Le père Noël est une ordure (is it known by the non french speaking people?)

Yesterday, I have seen The 9 Queens (Les neuf reines), a film from Argentina, about a robbery. Very good film.

The movie is based on the novel by Stephen King. Featuring Tim Robinson as a man doing time in prison. Very recommended

My list: 1. The Shawshank redemption
2. Lord of the Rings ( anxiously waiting for part 2)
3. The Green Mile
4. Stand by me (also after a novel by Stephen King)
5. Hannibal

When Harry met Sally

BossaNova · Post by **BossaNova** » Wed Sep 18, 2002 3:10 am

Funny Games - Michael Haneke
La Vie rêvée des anges - Erick Zonka
Scener ur ett äktenskap ("Scenes from a marriage") - Ingmar Bergman
Happy Together - Wong Kar Wai (in the mood for love is also great!)
Europa ("Zentropa")- Lars von Trier

there are also many american movies that I like, but those are famous enough, don't need my publicity..
