I think it is a standard rectangular stamp, but your bill was covered by another sheet of paper, where most of the stamp "landed".

Concerning these rectangular stamps:
If bundles are bundled at german banks - the paper holding the notes ist stamped with a rectangular stamp mentionning the bank and the date. If the cassier isn't careful eunough he will stamp the notes (at least) partly. I think these are the stamps you showed above. However, I don't know if this is also done abroad... But at least you now know what the bill tells you... 'I have once been the first/last bill of a bundle at a bank'
