The topic of whether negotiations with Turkey should begin is raising some heated debates all over the EU. It's a controversial issue, that's for sure.

It's a little harsh and it may be a little exaggerated but I've read similar reports. Apparently, Romania is a lagging quite a lot behind Bulgaria and even behind Croatia who's also just about to start their negotiations.
