Now why the queen is depicted on the coin, well, the law (muntwet) had already been modified a few years ago, so that the head of state does not have to be on common €2 issues (such as Treaty of Rome). Guess it would have been a little too much to change the law again ... And basically I think this kind of combination is not really bad.

Today I just got a brand and shiny rolls of 2€ CC :flag-it: 2011 for the 150 of Unity of Italy!!! Veeery nice!!!!

Is anyone of you (still) missing the 2€ Commemorative 2009 from Spain? (I mean: the one which commemorates the 10th anniversary of the EMU in our countries).

If you are interested, just let me know! I have this coin. ;)

I've already seen the Austria 2012 BU in a coin shop in Germany. This set included the 2€ CC and it was beautiful!

In several euro countries the coin (Ten Years of Euro Cash) was issued on 2 January, and yes, I picked some up ...

I need the 2€ CC coin from Malta.

In return I can provide the 2€ CC 2012 of all countries. (ie: swapping 17 maltese coins for the rest of coins) Anyone willing?
