Just sketches drawn for the 1998 referendum
I like them, but I'd prefer a wider variety of symbols (e.g. Anderssen's little mermaid in Copenaghen).
I found the image on Danish National Bank's web site.

I had the idea of taking a look to Swedish Central Bank web site, but no sign of euros.mts wrote: Great. If you find the euro coin designs from Sweden or UK, post them too!

Dannish euros are beautifull, it would be good if they used Euro!
I have heard it is possible to have some english coins, but it is very expensive. You have to go in a special shop.
I'll try to go to english bank website to see euro coins.

I'm interested to see some more designs of Euro coins for other countries.micro wrote: I've got a little book about euro coins, it also lists special coins in euro denomination from Bosnia, Isle of Man, Soa Tomé e Príncipe and Turkey. If anyone wants more information I can take a closer look at it.
About the Danish euro coins: They're ok, but actually I prefer coins without human faces on them. Especially stupid looking: The guy on the Greek 10-cent coin. My favorite until now: The French 1 & 2 euro, Portuguese 10-50c, Italian 50c, Austrian 50c (and more).
Sorry, I don't have a scanner, so I can't show you the book pages....craco wrote:I'm interested to see some more designs of Euro coins for other countries.
