It is planned that we start the boat trip at Gmund, and last destination will be Tegernsee (town).

Do you want to go there by car? Maybe you can enter the boat at Tegernsee (with the same ticket) and meet us at Gmund. Tickets are valid for a round trip, but with a maximum of 2 breaks.
Yes, that is the plan, I want to go to Austria in the evening. Thanks for the info!

Only one and a half weeks left! :D

Registrations are still welcome!

The schedule on page 1 is updated, including the price for the boat trip - 11,70 EUR. :)

Just FYI if anyone is interested to go to Kufstein to play a bit of Poker on Saturday night let me know. I have at least two seats available atm and would not mind to give you a ride (to keep my fuel costs low which we would share :P )
I will leave the Braustüberl rather early (19:30 latest I guess) and take the scenic route via Schliersee. No dot hunting. Return to Munich Hauptbahnhof at some point at night. Would be willing here to stop at the one or the other Raststätte to fill a square or two. 8) On the other hand, gas stations and such are often closed at night in rural parts of Germany so don't be disappointed.

The weather forecast:

We can expect a HOT and sunny weekend!

Only on Thursday still some rain and local thunderstorms, but from Friday on a lot of sun. :D

Temperatures to 32°C are expected on Saturday. On Sunday perhaps even more. Only a very small risk of local thunderstorms especially on Sunday.

I'm arriving Thursday evening. Not sure about the time, it depends on how quick the dothunting will go.
Why don't I give you a call when I'm at the hotel and see where you are.

I'm arriving tomorrow evening as well, at 19:12 if the trains that I'll take (Erfurt -> Fulda -> Nürnberg -> Amberg -> Schwandorf -> Bad Kötzting -> Cham -> Nürnberg -> München) are reasonably punctual.
I'm staying at the Meininger Hotel, so anything at or after 20:00 near the main train station is fine for me.

If someone hasn't a clue how to get from the central station to the Conrad-Hotel:

Head straight from the tracks through the main hall (for your orientation: follow the U1/U2 signs until the stairs, and walk beside the flower shop out of the building). Outside head right. The street to the left of HypoVereinsbank, that is Schillerstr.
