Has there been a change in the WAPsettings recently?
Trying to submit a note via WAP gets me nowhere, all I get is the message:
your username or password was not accepted by EBT

No such changes have been made, but unless I'm mistaken you've changed your email address on EBT since the last time you used EBT-WAP. Try logging in with your current email address at wap.eurobilltracker.com

Thanks for refreshing my memory

It seems to work alright now, although I submitted 2 notes via WAP, my GSMdisplay did NOT show the text the notes were entered at EBT. Nevertheless, they DO show up at the: view my notes page

It said: no reaction from gateway.
And every time I access the site using the bookmark, it says: WAP login ok, you should bookmark the following address:wap.eurobilltracker.eu/cgi-bin/euro.pl?id=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
This text is constantly displayed......

Hmm.. The problem might be that the page is too large for your phone (the error message is somewhat misleading at times).. I'll try to borrow a similar phone from a coworker and see if I get similar results.

As for the bookmark thing, you get that message because you're using a bookmark that has op=newlogin;email=youremail;pass=yourpassword in the address. By using the suggested id=xyxyxyxyxyxyx bookmark your password wouldn't be visible in the bookmarked address.

I've the following problem:
after I've successfully inserted a note my browser returns the following message: "Unknown file type" and it stops.

I know my phone has not one of the best WAP implementations, but I'd like to know what "page" is supposed to be loaded after the insertion of a note... (type, URL and size...)

The type of the page is defined as text/vnd.wap.wml, the same as in all other wap-ebt pages. The URL depends on your input, but for example http://wap.eurobilltracker.eu/cgi-bin/e ... id=loginid

The size of the page depends on your input as well, for example notes from different printers yield different printer identification texts, and the "Reuse entered info" feature includes the previous comment and other data in a link, and this may grow the page significantly. Looking at the logs, a typical size for that response page is something between 662 and 1279, typically under 800 bytes.

What kind of phone do you have?

A damned Motorola V525, with a VERY bad implementation of *EVERYTHING*...

I suppose it's a phone fault, and from the (complete) answer you gave me, I suppose I can do nothing to solve my problem.

BTW, it's "half a problem", since the note results entered anyway...

while touring to D-EBTM05 i had problems changing my default country.

when i choose "change" i always got the message "Dieses Feld muss ausgefüllt werden"

am i too stupid?

Well, I have run into a variety of incompatibilities while developing WAP-EBT. The problem is that different phones have different bugs, and developing workarounds for all of them is somewhat time-consuming. WAP-EBT can probably be modified to support your phone as well. I'll just give you a set of slightly different WAP pages and you can test which ones work and which ones don't. I'll try to construct a test set in the near future.

Hmm.. I changed the link to have some dummy values for those required fields, please have a look to see if it behaves better now. It worked fine with my phone even before the modification, but I can understand why some phones wouldn't dig the previous situation.

I have no idea what that means but I'm guessing it would be the same as the report I got "Tämä kenttä ei voi olla tyhjä".

I tried it this way: I changed the city and the zip, added value, short code and serial and then pressed "Change country". It worked
