For the Belgian notes it would seem to be the second letter and SECOND number that match with the short code.
In my first bundle
ZB23 matches with D4 and
ZB27 with H4
For the second bundle you 'll have to wait.
I'll open it only in the evening as one needs something to "brag" about at home

S002H6 gives SA81131xxxxx here in Athens, and similarly, S002I6 is for serial SA91131xxxxx, if this makes any sense to any of you. I could only think of the connection of H with 8 and I with 9.

Do you know if you have entered one in Spain? To my knowledge, not yet. Thanks

Not yet. Today's holiday in Madrid, and there are very few heavy users in Spain.

The new belgian Z/Z apparently follow the traditional Belgian system.
Giulenc has saved me a lot of work putting a typed version of the numbering schemes on the Italian forum

Today, second day of the "Europabill Age", I've been to the Banco de España in Plaça de Catalunya, because I've visited all the seven banks in my little town Castellbisbal. They answered that they get cash only once a week, and the one that's going to be the first will be by tuesday next week.
By the way: the automatic machine to pay the parking did not recognise the bill. I've inserted one in the four possible positions. I'll try other machines.
EDIT: Re-upload banknotes picture.
WARNING: Checksum digit has been conveniently modified.

I "bought" a batch of 30 notes.
EDIT:
They are all new, correlative, VA5 series, with numbers from 952* to 981*.
Off course, with only one batch, it is not possible to establish what kind of coincidences are there between the serialnumber and the printer code, other than the change of the FNMT indentifier from M to V. They are all the same printing number, V004B3, but I cannot assure how (and if) it can correspond with the first series numbers as it has been found in other countries.
Jordi.

Why?
There are 2 letters and 10 digits. You're publishing 2 letters and 8 digits. The EBT site is publishing the 2 missing digits plus other two. The number is already public somewhere.

Shhhht!!!
Do not tell anybody!
Well observed, although actually one of the numbers remains hidden:
My photo was showing
VANNXXNNNNNN, and EBT shows
VXXXXNNNNXXX.
I removed the picture anyway, 'till I can edit it.
By the way: is there any way to see another user's list of registered banknotes?
I mean: could I see your list? (with hidden numbers, off course)
Could you see mine?
I've been trying for quite a while and didn't manage to...
Then, who could find out?
Thank you anyway. I'll change the pic.

No, that's not possible in EBT.

Thank you.
Then, it is not possible anyone can see the photo and my list of banknotes.
Identification of "my" serial numbers remains idden.

You're missing at least some of the plates already reported
here.
