Indeed, it took some time to get a hit with Portugal.
I was hoping some time for a hit with Portugal, because 2 years ago, my father visited Lisboa. of course, all his bills he took from Belgium, were entered. I'm still hoping that one of these bills will be found. So if you have a hit with me with a bill entered june/july 2009, it's probably one of my fathers bills.

I don't know how the bill from A-Simoes got to portugal, but I'm sure that there are still some bills from 2 years ago somewhere close to you

Hi people,

Upon seeing that the new U/M Trichet notes have hit the street, I think it is time to rush for those like me who want a Duisenberg one. According to the EBT site, there are still several of those inserted everyday, so with a little bit of luck maybe one of you reads this, then finds one of them and accepts getting a 50% reward (ie 15€) for sending it to me via postal mail.

It seems that the eight notes that I took back to Belgium from my holidays in 2009 do want to reappear in Portugal

Este hit, segundo o primeiro utilizador (que é belga), a nota foi para a Bélgica mas voltou a ser encontrada em Portugal.

Of course it is fully possible that the note has re-travelled to Portugal in the 2,5 years that have gone by (let's hope for that as my hitpartner is a newcomer), but I would have been more at ease if somebody would have found any of the 109 notes that were left in Portugal as this reminds my of my deleted hit with Joaquim Aleixo.

Reparem neste hit: o primeiro utilizador é belga e colocou nos comentários que a levou para a Bélgica. Não sei se isso é verdade mas ela foi encontrada novamente encontrada em Portugal.

O Joaquim Aleixo anda a aldrabar novamente, já lhe limparam as notas mais do que uma vez mas parece que não aprende, é um "autêntico" idiota que teima em perder tempo com essas merdas...

With my inexcisting knowledge of portuguese, I do understand from above message that Joaquim Aleixo has had notes deleted already before.
It's a pity, as for some minutes I enjoyed my first Portuguese hit.

Anyway, from the 117 notes that I obtained during last summers holidays I brought just 8 back to Belgium.
As I hadn't acces to internet during the holidays, I entered the notes only when I was back home, so I'm sure that this note came to Belgium.

AKVS, for what it is worth, I had a look at the insertion from your Hit partner at the statistics in the site, and they looked ok, no case of Hit into series or strange insertion patterns.
Hope it will remain a valid and interesting Hit!

Me too, I took a look at the notes that (s)he entered today.
The only thing that could be a bit strange was that some twenty thirty notes earlier there was another note with same visible part of the serial number than the hitnote (Mxxxx2802xxx).
In the few minutes that I could spend on this I did not spot any other such pairings, so I remain hopeful.

rare hit, my second with and the first - . i've changed only 2 bills and i remember that i had a lot of problems to get rid of them again. the bank-employees didn't want to trust me. finally i spent one in the confeitaria nacional in lisboa, the other was accepted in the casino in estoril.

it was a great holiday, btw, very nice country.

Very nice hit, next time don't ask for here the banks will give them to you, no problem there. But they will only change them for smaller notes if you have an account whit them. And one bank (C.G.D) will only accept them if you make a deposit I see that you spend one in the confeitaria nacional? What did you buy? Half the store In the other hand casinos are a great way to put in circulation those bills.
