I have a better and easier solution for you, that will avoid these situations in the future.vermeer wrote:Next time i will sent the booklet with shortcode and serialnumbers to anyone who wants to enter the notes on my account.
Maybe no access to the internet at this time?ravestorm wrote:Another consideration: if you have time to write down serials why you don't enter them directly into the site in that same time instead?
As a guideline, you should enter the notes within two weeks of obtaining them, preferably as soon as possible.
Two months are a really long interval of time. No internet access for two months? That's really a lot of time!ErGo wrote:Maybe no access to the internet at this time?ravestorm wrote:Another consideration: if you have time to write down serials why you don't enter them directly into the site in that same time instead?
Me too: instead of disparately looking for new notes that you have no time to track, just track you old notes still waiting.ErGo wrote: But i really support your other suggestion:
if someone has not the time to transfer the notes in an appropiate time from the written notes to EBT, its better to throw away the written notes!
See also "Rules & Guidelines"As a guideline, you should enter the notes within two weeks of obtaining them, preferably as soon as possible.
I fully agree that the location should be Barcelona in this case.mistercesare wrote:I don't know where to write this: http://it.eurobilltracker.com/notes/?id=151008284" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
"Notes received on flights, trains, ferries, etc.
In such a case, you should not enter the note as originating from the city you just passed by when you got it. (This might be very difficult to determine on a boat or a flight anyway.) Take either the last stop or your destination instead."
EDIT: This obviously is a hit, but the location isn't correct.
See, a kind and informative message, and anyone (including you) could have written a similar message. The goal here is to reduce the workload of the support group.avij wrote:Hi, this message is about the note you entered: https://fi.eurobilltracker.com/notes/?id=151008284" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The rules say that any notes obtained during a flight should be entered using either the starting or destination points as the location. AY3270 was probably a flight from Barcelona to Helsinki, so Barcelona would be a better location for your entry. The notes I have entered from the airport of Barcelona used 08820 as the postal code. Hopefully that's the correct postal code.
You can change the location by choosing the "Edit this note" tab from the note report. This allows you to change the city, postal code and country to the correct ones. Thank you for your understanding.
I had also my suspision, If you look up Dublin with Postal Code 5501, You end up in Australia.japh wrote:This user has entered about 74 notes in Ireland and obtained 3 hits with Finland giving a hit ratio of about 1 : 25.
It just isn't a normal hit ratio for Ireland but it is for Finland.
