Is there a reason why e.g on the Europe Series,

, some notes have raised value (EA0000*, VA0000*, etc.) and others don’t? For example I received a MD0000* today and wondered if this is something worth keeping.

You're absolutely right, I'm in the process of completing the important issues of the Europa series.
MD0000 will appear on the list as soon as possible, along with other special issues.
As a reminder, MD0000 = A5 comes from print run M001. It is the 1st position of charge 1.
MD0000 contains 100 000 euronotes. That is a good note for the collectors...

Guy. Thank you for the quick answer and explanation.
I would also like to thank you very much for the work and dedication you put into this. You alongside of many others here make tracking and collecting bills a really great and interesting community and hobby.

@ g,s.51, you probably have missed my message on the German collectors forum:

U055 has surfaced already.
In the meantime, please correct your last entry (check Seltaeb's message above). Instead of 1/4/V19, you should have added 2/4/V19 (a

VB, not a

VC).
Thanks!!

Dear friends of EuroBillTracker,
I have updated the 2002 series page while waiting for the publication of my next book.
It represents the sum of several years of research.
The catalogue has been extended by two columns and, above all, by the evaluation of the print runs.
This newly improved page makes it possible to evaluate the small, medium, large or incredible rarity of the editions.

Great job!
Why sometimes the production of the

1st series banknotes by
year does not match the data:

?

Partly because the production announced does not correspond to the extreme quantities calculated.
One example among many, the 20€ T / K002 (duisenberg)!
The extremes calculated result in 100 million notes, while the BCI indicates 60 million (a difference of 40%).
In reality, very few notes have been found by collectors, which is an additional enigma that justifies a high quotation...

Dear Guy,
(thanks again for the laborious and wonderful work, and for making it available)
I have started to study the Europa catalogue page. If you don't mind, I will post here the questions that come up during this study (I can post instead at Banknotesworld, or directly in pm, if you prefer — just let me know).
So here's my first question for the Europa catalogue page:

VA0000 (=A6) 100 000 billets RR Premier numéro de la série VA.
I have never seen any banknote in this range, except for publicly available images of two official specimen notes (duly stamped "SPECIMEN"). Our fellow giulcenc's tables
2V indicate that the first cycle for

V/V starts from VA0300. On the 1st Series catalogue page, you discriminate specimen notes. Very few notes in this range (presumptive cycles VA000-VA0059 + VA0060-VA0119 + … + VA0240-VA0299) have ever been registered at EBT; so few that it's very likely that they are errors.
So, my question is this: have these notes (VA0000) been put in circulation, or are they just a few specimens? If this is the case, shouldn't they be presented as such on the catalogue?
Thanks in advance!
