Nice! From the 3 times I've been to Cyprus, there were always quite a lot of Finnish tourists around. I'm sure more coins from Cyprus will be found in Finland and, if we had more CY EBTers,

A friend of mine told me he was given 2€
as change and gave it to a shopkeeper. I'm so angry he didn't keep it for me.

On the nice hit thread you just said that you waited to open the champagne for your first hit and quickly you had it. Then blaming for loosing a coin and you find a cool one on the same day!!!!
Try to say "I never win at national lottery or something like that!!!"

looks like there was a lapsus!!
I was using Lm2 notes up till 45 days ago and the thinking is still there I guess.
Cypriot coin in Greece

A few days ago, I got my first Cypriot euro-denominated coin in Greece! I got a
50 cent coin as change from the canteen at my workplace in
Kallithea, Attica, Greece. Needless to say the Cypriot coins have become something of a bonanza not only for collectors in Greece, but also for normal non-collectors, as they are viewed with additional emotional value.
A few days later, a colleague of mine brought me a 20 cent, a 1 euro and a 2 euro coin from Cyprus, on her way back from voting at the Cypriot presidential elections. I will keep my eyes open for any instance of Cypriot coins appearing in circulation in Greece, although they are already being extensively hoarded by mainland Greeks.
