Hello ye olde. Please confirm that you mean printer code E003
All my L258 amd L259 notes are E003.

I also have some L257's so I think that your request should cover all E003 :note-20: 's with control number higher than L255xxxxxxx.

I will send you PM about my :note-20: E003's if that is what you need.

Hi Juristi M,

I do not know, why I wrote H003. You are absolutely right, I mean E003 - and as far as numbers are concerned, with your proposal of all numbers higher than L255xxxxxxxx you are correct as well.

The reason why I mentioned 258 and 259 only is, I have no info on numbers like 256 or 257.

Any help is much appreciated and I will let you know once I have found some reasoning behind the numbers.

I look forward to receiving your PM - and again promise: your data is safe with me.

Thanks to Juristi M., aplfi and STP, I now have a small selection of new numbers of the :note-20: E003 notes.

One thing has become clear already, the problem area is only the L259 series. Up to including L258, all first six digits of the controlnumber show the sheetposition in line with the original findings.

BUT, and this is the big BUT, L259 still does not make sense and I would love to have more data from you, sitting at the source of Finnish Euro notes !

As fas as L259 is concerned, I have managed to find a possible solution for the numbering L259000 up to L259269 - which run in a similar fashion as the range of numbers known, but it only works, when I consider L258910 up to incl. 258999 do not exist - and L259000 is the start of the new numbering system.

But this system ends with L259269 - I have no idea, what goes on afterwards, although I have some numbers as follows:
259330 position H6
259331 position H6
259332 position unknown
259333 position H5
259334 position unknown
259335 position H4
259336 position H4
259337 position H3
259338 position H3
259339 position H3
259362 position D3

Anyone out there with an idea ???

Hi Finns! Next monday I'll be for very short time to Helsinki downtown (quite long stopover flight from Milan to Beijing) and I would like to get as many :note-5: and :note-10: as I can.
Do you think I can freely go to bank and or post offices with :note-50: notes and kindly ask to exchange them into :note-5: or :note-10: :?: Any suggestion about where to go :?:
Any advice will be really apprecheated (pls consider I just went to Hel once before in 2003, so I remember downtown quite well  ).

Kiitos! Grazie!

Maks

Jessper wrote:Hi Maks,

There shouldn't be any problems changing notes as long as you keep it modest. If you try to change vast amounts, people will get suspicious. Couple of hundred is maximum per place - and remember to keep your passport ready, most likely they'll ask for it.

Please leave also lots of notes to Helsinki-Vantaa airport, since I'll be harvesting there on Monday.. :)

Have a nice trip & lots of hits!
Hi Jessper thanx a lot for the info, I will try to do my best to leave to you as many gems as I can

Depending on when you're around, I might be able to help you.
Next Monday I will have a work-related meeting until something like 17 or 18:00 and after that I'm free to blob blob around and help you with the money-changing stuff. You should be able to change money at least in some banks, even though you are a foreigner. Not all banks will accept you, but still I'd say definitely at least 60% will agree to change. Maybe even closer to 80%.
Most of the banks close at 16:15, but there are exceptions:
The S-Group, which owns the large shops "Sokos" and "Prisma", has become a bank, as well. All of the Sokos and Prisma shops are open every day. Between Sunday and Friday they are open until 21:00 and that way you can change money even if you're quite late around the downtown. The bank desk is the info desk of the shop. First a bit weird going there for banking, but that's my own main Finnish bank and works just as any bank would :)
The bank is called S-Pankki, but no spanking is required in order to change money. One Sokos is right next to the central railway station, another one is about 3 minutes by any tram in direction northeast from the station, right after the bridge. The airport bus even passes it on its way to the railway station.
There is a Prisma in shopping centre Jumbo, which the airport bus passes shortly after the airport. The shopping centre is quite annoying, though. The only doors there are through a rather large and ugly parking hall and inside there you have a million kilometers of corridors so wide it ends up looking disgusting..

There is a Nordea bank at the side of the Central Railway station, that is open until 18:00. There is a Sampo bank that is open until 18:00, somewhere about 200m west-southwest from the central railway station.

If you want to create a minute-precise plan for your travel, please use http://aikataulut.ytv.fi/reittiopas/en/ for it. You can just click the stuff on the map if you don't know the addresses.

If you wanna call me, my number as long as I am present in this culture-shocking stupid country is +358442060560 .

Hi Dakkus, these are vey precious info also cause my time is really short!
I'll arrive at HEL at 15:30, so I consider to be able around 16:00 to be on Finnair bus to downtown, direction Central Rail Station.
Once there (approx 16:45) do all my best to feel again Helsinki air and to leave as many notes as I can an to pick up as much as I can!
My flight to Beijing leaves at 20:00, so maximum at 19:00 I need to be there (I'll already will have my boading pass but I have to fulfil all the clearance formalities, even if I have a business ticket.
I'll keep your mobile number and I'll send you an sms once on the bus.. I'll try to go to those banks open till 18:00.

Finland I'm coooooming!!!!!!
