Well, where can I find this information?

We take as a model the ebtm in Berlin. On Sunday we went to Sanssouci and we needed to get there approximately 1 hour with the metro and a little walk; at the end we needed about 1hour and 30min. Approximately the same time we will need to get to the cave.
In our opinion 2 days in Ljubljana city it is enough to see the center of the city, of course their it is a lot of more to see, we have a lot of museums, churches, the national library, parks, zoo, hills around the city etc. but we believe that is really hard to find something suitable for the majority of the group. This is the reason why we decide to go to a trip. We didn't chose Friday and Sunday for the trip because the majority of the participant will stay in Ljubljana only half of the day.
However, we published the programme in December and it is not really productively to hear your wishes 14 days before the meeting.

I must say I have totally missed this. Sorry. Anyway Vaavi Vaavelson is in August still only 7 months old so we don't want to sit that much on a bus because first to get to Ljubljana we need to sit 140km on a car. We need to think if we came to Ljubljana on Sunday when the city tour takes place.

First I had the plan to visit the Postojna caves when I'm driving from Izola towards Ljubljana.
Now I wonder if that's a good idea, or would it be about the same as in Skocjan?
Then I can maybe do something else.

The caves are very different. The Postojna caves are bigger and more turistic, while the Skocjan caves are more interesting (IMHO).
I think that it's worth it to visit both
