I've never had that before. But I like the name Boomerang Hit.

if I´ll get a boomerang hit (funny, cause i stll have no hits at all) i`ll register it with a different nick.
it`s surely not an interesting hit, but the note would be at that place at that time and thats what we`re trying to track. it gives us another chance into the life and path of this note.
it`s maybe not okay for some of you but thats my definition of this site

When they are awake, the mods will delete it.

You can always ask the people of EBT to change the comment. I think that is possible. You can put the date on which you got the bill back in the comment and the word boomerang. Than you know it was a boomerang.

i got that last weekend also....
but it is a good thing!

I just had a boomerang-hit with a German €5 I entered at 5-5-2004.

I just had two strange boomerang hits. I received six notes from my parents in Zevenbergen. Two of those notes I already had given in, one of them a week ago and one of them about two weeks ago. From my homeplace to Zevenbergen is about 45 km. I think it's very strange that those two notes went to my parents en came back to me.

I noticed this about a week and a half ago.
It's really nice that people can see when they already entered the note.

I had a 'boomerang hit' a few weeks ago.
I gave a bill of 5 euro in the supermarket, the day afterwards I went back to that supermarket and got that bill in my hands.
Pretty funny.

Today I had a boomerang hit
I entered that note on the 19th of May
That's 19 days ago!!!

And today again!!!!
A note I already had on May 28

I paid my rent once in cash, and chances are big, that I had entered the notes. If I get them in return, I can't insert them again.
I'm quaestor of my student's council. The notes I have, are all entered. So I can't re-enter these notes either.

However, I don't keep track of boomerang hits.

Yes, I think it's good it shows when you have got the same note before. I have been missing this improvement before. Thank you avij on my behalf too!

Just a little thing... I think the text "you are probably making a mistake" is useless somehow because it's quite obvious if you notice you are entering the same note again. But this is only my opinion.
