Thank you for coming to the rescue so quickly ;) So, this means these problems are pretty much the same which the main site experienced before being moved to avij's company, right? Those that said 'upgrade or die'? Hmmm... :? In some way, this is very nice, since it shows how far the site and the forum have grown, but I hate it when I have to remain forumless - it makes me grumpy :evil:

WARNING: There is a good chance this post makes no sense whatsover. If so, please ignore... 8O

A friend of mine, who owns a very large bulletin board, once tried to explain how there's often a build-up of errors which slows sites down and can even put them "off-air". I didn't understand the first thing about it, but maybe you do.

We had a good laugh at the time at some "conculega's" whose site crashed straight after the launch and didn't work properly for at least a week to ten days before they and their professional bureau solved it - the same way my friend did: just deleting those errors on a regular basis.


(conculega: contraction of the Dutch word for competitor and colleague)
