This isn't really a hit, but I thought I'd share this story with you anyway. I have a crude script with which I can quickly check the status of notes that I have floating around at my place. I try to spend the notes I obtain from EBTM's in "normal use", meaning that I won't just dump them to bank (it would be a pity to moderate all but one of those hits, if someone got that bundle from the bank and entered them). Therefore I may have EBTM notes with me for a relatively long time until I manage to get rid of them. This note was one of those, but I wanted to make sure.

I enter a serial number to the script, and the script outputs all occurrences of that serial number in the database. For this note, the script output two rows, which usually happens when there's a hit. I thought it was odd, I didn't remember that note being a hit. Then I looked a bit closer and noticed that this note entered by Elmo had a different denomination but the same serial number. Judging by the shortcode, his note is indeed a fiver.

So... two notes with different value but the same serial number? If that is so, shouldn't there be thousands of such notes?

Sure, this is nothing particularly uncommon. Looks like I'd have 245 such matches among my serial numbers.

Actually, I was going to mention as well that emppu's as mine first meeting hits. Emppu got that one you mentioned today, and I'd got this one the day before yesterday.

Although my brother jackgaillard didn't mention "S-EBTM2015" in his comment, we can affirm that this hit is a "meeting hit" .

The second half of the comment says: either paid in at ING Brussels Central Station thanks to maarsy or at KBC/CBC Great Sqaure thanks to eddydevries. Both of them paid in ~1 bundle (and immediately withdrew the amount in other notes) but I didn't keep records where which bundle had been spent......
