By the way, there are more hackers active lately.
Check out Leonardo, who enters all his notes in Barcelona, which all seem to be Finnish, and consecutive ... (in Spain ? Does Finland print notes for Spain ?)

Anybody has an explanation for this ?

Don't bother to explain. This guy just scored a hit with Antti.
An obvious fake.

It would have been fake if it was in Finland, because it was scored from entering hundreds of consecutive numbers. All Finnish, and entered in Spain (where EBT has not yet lift off)

If you then score a hit with a Finnish user, must be fake. (unless Antti sent fresh bundles of notes to Spain)

Leonardo also registered very recently. More to come ?

Is it possible for the webmaster to check if the IP-addresses of those guys are the same? Would it be possible to just BLOCK their IP-address so they can't login on ETB anymore?

Damn Leonardo  . For a moment I thought I had had my first hit. But if it's fake I can't take it as a hit. As Skylimit already noticed here It traveled to Barcelona in a day, and I didn't it send to him , I spent that note in a restaurant yesterday aftornoon, so it couldn't have travelled to Spain in a couple of hours.
Consecutive serial numbers on the other side of the continent does sure make everyone suspicious. I just hope you believe I had nothing to do with this faking, I'm an honest EBTer waiting for my first real hit.
BTW how can you see if a user enters consecutive serial numbers? Do you have to be a moderator or something like that?

You can try to find the notes for one user. For this one with 4 hits I just had a look at his data as given by the website and tried to find the notes he entered by using the 'last note entered date'. Then you see that there are a lot of consecutive notes with the same number (but you don't see the second and the last three digits). If this is the case, they are very likely to be consecutive.

I checked my notes, and all notes that are there same (with the 4 x'es) are indeed consecutive. I've had one line of 10 notes, one of 9, one of 5 and 3 of 2 notes. All genuine.

I have reason to believe so too and am investigating this matter...

I still don't have a reason to believe the 3 hit bill was fake (although it is statistically very soon to have a 3 hit bill, but it could happen..., could also have been Thomassed, since user Thomas is actually one of the three :? ) The 4th hit was fake, and the Leonardo hit as well ... Since the "modus operandi" was the same in all cases, it is probably the same person or clan.

Damage : distribution in Spain is kaputt for this month, our 3 hit bill may get moderated, think positive : maybe some Spanish users will sign up now.

What's really fishy to me: why doesn't the accused defend himself here??

Because there's nothing to defend??

No, it was a kebab-pizzeria, held by two guys who are probably turks.

The new doubtful entries of consecutive numbers bring me to the conclusion that we must discuss if EBT should maintain the possibilities for CSV file entries.
If you go back to manual input of every single bill, this would be a threshold to fakers. On the other hand, it would be inconvenient for a minority of power users who insert more than 1000 notes in 15 days.
What do you think?

I only use the advanced form....
If I have to register 20 notes, it takes 5 seconds with the advanced input system, and about 15 minutes with the simple form....
With the advanced form I can simply copy/paste my notes from my database.... And with the simple form I have to copy/paste every single serial number...

It seems you're rigth, but if there is no advanced option, it is unfeasible for me to enter all the notes. I hope notes like that could be removed from EBT.
