If the bus trip is still in the plans, I guess I could participate in it. My only concern is that my flight back home leaves at 19:05, but I was convinced that this won't be a problem.

Because we are leaving at 10 am, we will be back at 2.30 pm (14.30).
So you'll have plenty of time to catch your plane: with leaving at 19.05 you have to be on Schiphol Airport at 17.00 and it won't take 2½ hours to get there.

Erm, 17.00? Finnair tells me I should check in 40 minutes before the flight, so in this case the deadline would be 18:25. Of course I'd rather be there a little bit in advance..

If the trip starts at 12.30 and lasts about 4.5 hours, the trip will be finished at about 17. Assuming I can get to the airport in one hour, I'd be there at about 18:00.

Partly you're right: the bus trip will start at 12.30 (I was mistaken by the sentence "The Sunday activity will start at 10.00 in the moring instead of 10.30!!! ").
But on the website of Schiphol Airport it says checkin times for destinations within Europe 2 hours and for flights outside of Europe 3 hours.

Hi I'm back from the short holiday and reading this discussion, but the only thing I can say is that from Amsterdam Central to schiphol won't take an hour. And yes the bus trip will be 12.30.

Just for the fun I'll go to Amsterdam somewhat earlier, maybe there are some other people (especially the foreign participants) who are there as well, maybe we can walk through Amsterdam together.

I also found out that I don't have a place to sleep for the first night, so I have to leave towards home around 10PM to catch my last bus in Utrecht which brings me to Werkendam :)

That's also the weather forecast: less less less less rain as yesterday.

It hasn't rained today, but there are currently some dark clouds in the sky. It doesn't really matter much, though, as we're inside the restaurant at the moment
