well with objective data written in the topic "Suspicious notes and users" what else could he do!!
and in my personal opinion (but i guess also other users could agree) now it would be honest to change the location to where the notes where really taken! That's just what I'd do!

then let's change "Follow your Euro notes in their tracks" into "Force your Euro notes to make the track you want them to"

those notes were actually entered at a place were they had been , so there is nothing to bitch about

notes were actually entered at a place were they had been...TAKEN by purpose!
so no matter if I take notes in a Bank of Florence...I take them with me in Burundi or Nepal and then, i look at my wallet and surprised <wow here I've euro banknotes and I'm in Katmandu! great I found nepalese euros!!!> do you seriously accept something like this?!

I know, the rules are the rules, but this is not a very elegant way to have dots

, it's a bit like the one who register notes from all over the world because the one who gives him/her the bills says that they come from X, Y or Z : it's allowed but not very elegant (and anyway, not to be proud of!!!)
not elegant? you are very polite!!! all the dots (not the notes) are fake

If I go on holidays with a friend, and half way I ask to write down his numbers, that friend of mine will probably not know, anymore, where he got those notes from. So I will enter them in the place where I saw them. As I would do with notes from my collegues. And notes I was allowed to write down in a train (restauration, bar, etc), I will enter them under the last station we stopped. And if we made a new stop, it will be that station. As in theory, a new client could have boarded there and paid with it.
Making these dots like this won't earn you a beauty prize, I agree. But I wouldn't know how to do it differently.

It does not make any sense, to discuss this problem again and again and again! Everybody knows that there are two meanings in the community. The majority means, you should enter the notes, whre you got it (but not as artificial as Kaan did). The minority but majority between the Italian Users means, you should enter the notes where the probably came from. This would be mostly your hometown, specially if you are travelling with some other people.
Both parts think they are right and there is no way to find a equal meaning. Therefore please stop discussion now.

Dear eddydevries,
I noticed your remark about my small Latvian trip in the EBT forum and I agree – my actions seem to be strange or even suspicious. But let me clear this out. I had a small road trip with my friend (who is not an EBT user) in the northern part of Latvia and I had the intention to collect some new dots as well. But unfortunately it’s almost impossible to change some euro notes in these small places at weekends . My friend offered, that he gives me some brand new 5 euro notes, if I wanted them. I thought about it and decided, that this tracking style is not brilliant, but on the other hand it is not against rules. I obtained the note in Latvia and I entered this note correctly at this point. After that I repeated this operation in some other small Latvian towns and villages. All notes were entered by phone strictly in places, where I got the notes. You can even check the time difference between different locations.
I’m sorry about the confusion.
Kindest regards,
Kraan
Dear Kraan,
Thank you for your very honest, open and detailed explanation.
In my opinion, the following rule applies:
Notes received on flights, trains, ferries, etc.
In such a case, you should not enter the note as originating from the city you just passed by when you got it. (This might be very difficult to determine on a boat or a flight anyway.) Take either the last stop or your destination instead.
https://en.eurobilltracker.com/faq/?command=4096;tab=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
This is only my personal opinion, but if you are travelling together with a friend, and he gives you a bill every 20 minutes, you should enter them either from the departure or from the destination.
Of course you were at location X at time Y when the bill actually changed hands, but for me this is the same as if you are travelling together by airplane or by train.
Again, this is just my interpretation, maybe others will have different opinions.
Regards, good luck, and many Hits!
Carlos
P.S.: "Difficult" only makes it more interesting.
