When are the other notes slated to be released?

Later.
This is a process that will take several years. The new notes will be issued "in ascending order" according to the ECB, ie.

,
etc. So it is fair to assume that each year one denomination will be updated ...

Based on production figures, I believe we will also see the new 10 before December.
Re: "Europa": 2nd series of euro banknotes
You're right. The other day I gave one to a delivery man (souvlaki); not only had he not seen one, but he didn't even know that there were new 5 euro notes! He even asked me to pay him with old 5ers instead, so he wouldn't have a problem at the grill house (I mean the cashier there). Otherwise, the EuropaYCNZ wrote:Here everything is really slow. Even yesterday I paid at a cafe and the waitress told me it was the first new fiver she saw. Three weeks after they were released. At a cafe. In central Athens. Go figure.

Of course, automatic vending machines do not accept them (tested yesterday at the Athens metro ticket machines).
Ha! This is nothing. My bank, "La Caixa" has ATMs for making cash deposits. The machines automatically count the banknotes and make the deposit into the account. Today, 22nd day of the "Europabill Age", the ATM in my branch of "La Caixa" still did not accept Ευρώπη χαρτονομήσματα / Europabills. Not a vending machine: a cash managing banking device!

Serial numbers on the Europa series of banknotes
The serial numbers on this series are the two numbers printed on the back of the banknote: a horizontal number printed in black and a vertical number printed in a different colour.
The horizontal number comprises two letters and ten digits. The first letter identifies the printing works – see the list below. The second letter has no particular meaning; it simply makes more serial numbers possible.

The new banknotes are to be introduced gradually over several years, in ascending order and starting with the new €5 banknote.
The exact timing of the issuance of the other denominations will be determined and communicated to the public and cash handlers at a later stage.
In order to use up remaining stocks, the €5 banknotes of the first series will be issued for several months alongside the new €5 banknotes.

Re: "Europa": 2nd series of euro banknotes
I started a blog with my ramblings about EuroBillTracker and related stuff. My last post has a nice map depicting the detailed distribution of Europa series 5-euro banknotes per printer.
Has anyone noticed how Spanish (V) notes are to be found in the North of Germany while French (U) were sent to the South? Or the specific paths and locations that Belgian (Z) and Austrian (N) notes take in Germany? Or that Italian notes can be found in Austria, but only in the National Bank in Vienna?
Here's the link to the blog post.

Re: "Europa": 2nd series of euro banknotes
I just picked some notes from the first-europa-notes-list kindly provided by avij. I ordered the list by decreasing number of entries, assuming that big numbers were obtained almost certainly in banks or atms. I checked each of those individual links I chose, and copied the latitude and longitude from each map image's url.jonman wrote:where did you get the data from?
Thanks. The Leipzig area already has some N and V on the map.jonman wrote:i can add (uncirculated series of)v in

This is a map of primary distribution, not of circulation. It's meant to show where notes were available to the public for the first time, where they were "born", so to say.
(jonman, since most of the notes registered by you that I had access to mentioned some backwork and not an atm, those aren't uncirculated for my purpose. Also, even those found in atms later on the month and not coming in bunches of serials were probably put there after some circulation.)

I didn't care much about adding a lot of towns in Spain because only Spanish (V) notes were put in circulation there. I've added Zaragoza now from your series of ten notes starting here, although normally I wouldn't add it if I had any doubts, since you don't mention "atm" or "bank" in the comment (so the banknotes could in theory have been brought in a bunch by someone).

San Marino, yeah! Now, the only country in the Eurozone still left without "Europa" tracking is the Vatican City.

well, if you’re happy enough with the leipzig area, that’s greatlmviterbo wrote:I just picked some notes from the first-europa-notes-list kindly provided by avij. and these my flat mate brought from an atm:

if that helps you, voilà (if not, thanks anyway!)
