An old case from 2018:

TapaLV (190847): 691 notes deleted

Since his fake notes were entered only in a short period in 2018 and all notes since these dates are ok, no restrictions were done against his account.

Yes, curver is an old friend of mine, from back when I still lived in France. I can guarantee that the hits we had are not intentional (i.e. that I did not give the notes directly to him). When he registered, I clearly told him that if he knew I had already entered a note, he should not enter it himself. However, when I was in Marseille this summer, I did give other friends money that I owed them. I assume curver later asked them if he could enter their notes, not knowing that they were originally from me :?

The first two times this happened, I posted a message in the French part of the forum to ask if these hits should be moderated (here and here). Other forum members told me that it wasn't necessary and that the fact that the notes had first "transited" through a non-EBTer was random enough.

If these hits are in fact not random enough and are polluting the statistics, I don't mind asking for them to be moderated. It's just not entirely clear to me how random hits have to be to be interesting (beyond the obvious fact that an intentional friendly hit would be cheating, which is clearly stated in the FAQ). If there is an official rule for this type of situation, please let me know and I'lll do whatever is necessary :wink:

My point of view: these banknotes travelled in an unforced, natural way. The hits are therefore as random as they could be, and should not be moderated. In any given place where there are many trackers, this kind of his would happen a lot, anyway.

Even if these hits are not that interesting to the trackers involved, they are as interesting to EBT as any other hits.

Strange way for introducing a serie of 60 consecutive :note-5: € bills for an expert user (Almost 20.000 bills in nearly 15 years): a single bill (Comment: "Nuevo" => "New" in Spanish), another single bill (No comment), eight consecutive bills (Comment: "New" => In English), another twenty-five consecutive bills (Comment: "New" => In English) and finally, another twenty-five consecutive bills (Comment: "New" => In English).

Maybe I am wrong, but normally he should have introduced a group of twenty five consecutive bills twice and at the end, ten more bills... for me these are suspicious notes because the way that the user Jesuz has introduced them is not very logical.
