It seems that it didn't have a lasting effect. New consecutive series notes (many with a "mercat" comment) were entered this evening.

And I did have the feeling that this hit with VolkerW appeared in the hit list a couple of days ago. However, I would not say that I am 100% sure it really was there....

My last two hits were 10 minutes apart with the same EBTor, PNotas (https://eurobilltracker.com/profile/?user=211531):

Those two notes were registered by me almost two years apart. So these hits are extremely unlikely to occur in the wild.

Please note that I am 100% sure that I didn't keep the older tenner to spend it later, so they did not travel together from me, not at all. I do that exclusively for rare or nicely numbered banknotes, and I track them all on a file I entitled "my collection".

I have no idea how PNotas can find the serial numbers of two of my banknotes. Maybe one of them was a real hit. Both of them? Close to impossible.

Please investigate. I found it so weird that I decided to search if PNotas were already mentioned here and, well, of course they were (quoted below).
