As long as both didn't meet and the note was exchanged and entered while fully knowing that it was entered before, I don't mind them having this hit.
Of course, one can criticise the fact that the note was (probably) spent in Groningen instead of Amsterdam where the first user lives. However, as long as this doesn't become a habit (see boomer_1962 and hiskia in Cologne for example), why not? And considering that Groningen itself is still quite large, there would have also been a chance that the note wasn't found by Vermeer.
