As Nerzhul has re-designed the dotmaps to a googlemaps-based version we now have the grid of the europe-map covering the whole world, which means some users might have different numbers of (world)dots now. (f.e.: Miles66: old map:368/7; new map 378 >>> +3)
unless the dotcountingscript is changed, the number of your dots are still calculated the old way (europe & world dots)

I lost a dot
My two locations on Samoa were probably separated by a dotborder on the old worldmap. Now they are squeezed into one (smaller) dot.

I had one dot in South-Africa in the region of Pretoria which is now giving two dots : one for Pretoria and the other one for the Airport of Johannesburg.

I guess it would need to take a decision about having the calculation done on the new worldmap gridded as the europe map, as indeed it is now one and a single map...

Time to move forward !

Indeed! I love the new features, being able to display or not the grid, and actual location of the insertions from the drop-down menu. It's fantastic!

I must report a minor bug, though. On the map below, the dot is correct, but the bills I inseted in "Trabazos, Spain" appear off the correct dot, to the North-west, and no bill appears on the correct dot, though this is blue...

After our tour to Y (France), I can add 7 dots, so I'm on 486 dots right now.

The question is: "When will I reach the 500-dots-milestone?"

The milestone is getting close: after some extra tours to Northern France and the meeting in/at Malta I've got 494 dots (+8).

The new maps are great to clear out doubts about some locations. I have to correct, at least 3 dots, since they're not in the right spot. Will try to have this fixed today!

woohoo! I gained 2 dots:

- my single dot in New York became two dots, one for New York City and one for JFK airport (just over the dot-dot boundary!) - also noticed there is a dot boundary runs east-west just below Central Park and a couple of blocks north of Times Square... something to remember...!

- my single dot in Hyderabad in India became two dots, as notes were picked up on separate occasions at the old HYD international airport (near the city centre) and the new one at Shamshabad
