It might be because you didn't use a - in the location name, just like same spelling of Saint-Michel-sur-Orge.

not the same name (but close, of course), note the same zipcode...

when there is only one profile with the newly entered city name, the new location will automatically be put into that profile, not regarding the post code. That is especially bad now when all the unused locations in the database have been deleted, there are more cases now where only one location of a place name exists, and when someone enters a note from one of the other places with the same name, the system thinks it is the same place.

Could it be a solution to use this automatic merge only in countries with many different post codes like the Netherlands?
Or only if the name of the location is the same as the name of the profile?

Baarle is indeed a seperate village within the municipality of Baarle-Hertog,
so this will remain this way.

Flora is not a village, its a suburb of the gemeente Merelbeke http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flora_(Merelbeke) so this
wil stay this way.

Also Boshoven has been identified as a suburb of the municipality Weert http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boshoven_(Weert)

The rest of your list has coordinates now and should show up on your Dotmap. I'm really sorry if you lost those two citys from your
list, but a suburb should be merged with the correct City. Villagesigns do not always tell you if it is really a village, a lot of
suburbs, in both the Netherlands and Belguim, have signs at their borders, but can not be identified as a village.

The dot for Tampere (post code area 33230) is located in the Norwegian Sea due to an error on the coordinates. 61.4996,3.74252 should be 61.4996,23.74252
