If it is the left-down serial, then I think yes. From my own observations I can confirm that the left-down serials of :note-10: are reddish, those of :note-100: are green and those of :note-50: seem to be brown. I also have the idea that the left-down serials of :note-5: seem to be not a bit lighter than the right-up serial, but this may be wishfull thinking.

I have never seen a :note-200: or :note-500: so I don't know about these.

I have just entered 2 :note-20:s (no hits involved) and indeed blue serials.

Does anybody know about :note-200: and :note-500: ?

:note-200: are brownish-yellow - but only the lower number bottom left. Top right is in black.

:note-500: are purple - colouring scheme as above.

To me it appears, as if the colour of the non-black number is the same as the colour of the word EURO on the front bottom left besides the value number.

Very strange, it must be a :note-20: (or a counterfied :note-5: ?)
Do you want me to post here an image of that note?
do you still have it and you can post an image?

Relatively rare banknote:

9,6 million :note-100: banknotes printed for Luxembourg for the year 2007 by Enschedé (see annual report Banque Centrale du Luxembourg published today).

I think they can be recognised by their serialnumber beginning with P06xx (P0601-P0626 for the moment (all G008, no G009's)). This gives a maximum of 10,4 million banknotes, minus a few percent that were destroyed for not being 100% ok.

The real Dutch :note-100: 2007-notes start somewhere around P0254 and go up to P0528 (first G008, than the G009 starting somewhere around P0486)

Yesterday I entered a :note-10: J004/S0481....
It seems to be rare: in Eurotracer database there are 5961 :note-10: J/S notes, but only 93 of them are J004, the 0,64%!

This is absolutely correct. I have found J004 only in charges 8, 9 and 11. Usually one charge has a theoretical print order of 54 million notes.

The first four digits of the controlnumber define the sheet position of each note, i.e. A1, A2 etc. Thus each sheet position has a potential of 1.000.000 numbers (Sxxxx000000x up to Sxxxx999999x) and each charge amounts to 54 million notes.

In case of the J004 notes, they are only marginally represented in the above mentiones three charges.
Charge 8: ****9631*** - ****9999*** = approx. 2.0 million notes
Charge 9: ****3322*** - ****4174*** = approx. 4.6 million notes
charge 11: ****8324*** - ****9999*** = approx. 9.0 million notes

and with a printing of just less than 16 million notes, we have an RR if not even an RRR note.

Todate I have found a total of 12 charges = 648 million notes.

Yes, my note too is in charge 9 and in the range written by you, if you are interested I can send by PM the complete serial number and a link to the scan of my note.
