I equalized some other shortcodes last weeks and before.
But today I had two notes with a new highest shortcode!!
It were two (almost consuctive serials) €50/Z3/T005G5 notes!

Well, lets put it like this: Today I have registered 152 notes, which is my all time record so far. This note was among a huge bunch of 50's. The problem is that I wanted to register as many notes as possible (at work) and that I don't have all of the current records at highest shortcodes in mind. If I had noticed at the time I entered it that p013a1 was a record, I certainly would have kept the note to be sure. Therefore I can't rule out that I've made a mistake, even though I thoroughly checked all the shortcodes. (One more thing to tell you about this note is that it didn't have a trichet signature)

On the other hand, I happen to have in my humble private database a 50 EUR note with the shortcode R013A3, which serialnumber begins with X081. I am not really into this, but if I remember correctly, the last numbers of shortcode only show the position on the sheet. If that is correct it wouldn't make sense to me that a note with R013A3 at the end should start with a lower serial than a note with R013A1.

Anyway, if I don't get on this list - so be it. It annoys me more that none of the 152 notes was a hit.

I have put the P013 on the list for now.
Elmo - what do you think? Should it be R013?

Sorry if I have caused any inconvenience to anyone.

In future, I will check the shortcodes even more thouroughly. It is obvious that these tiny numbers were not designed to be read by some folks like us. They perhaps would not have printed the codes THAT fine and they may have used different letters (F, R, P are pretty similar. Z, U, S for example are easier to distinguish...)

Wishful thinking

I found the following bill with Trichet's signature - it's shortcode is U007G4 and serial number M3465*******

N009? are you sure.
I would expect N004, but it could be a brand new note...

What, do you think I am some kind of newbie?!

It's a Trichet-note, by the way.

I'm really not sure about that N009, especially seeing as it is Y086. I'm fairly certain it's N004
Elmo - does it looks correct?
