Rubia will fix that at a later stage. If you don't have too many hitpartners just remove that tag manually.

Great that all German Landkreise und Kreisfreie Städte are now in NIG codes. I only have NRW and Niedersachsen, as posted in this thread.

Is there a possiblity to only download the codes_germany.txt somewhere ?

I have changed en created many codes_.txt files (unfortinatly all new onces are good for my notes - because I don't know all zipcodes of these countries), so it's more work to download a new version.

The Austrian districts are added to the NIG-Tool. It's possible to download the file separately!

Hi, I am organising on the French Forum a very stupid (but funny) classification : it's called Le Burger-Tour. Based, on the another game "Le Tour de France", the purpose of the game is to list the cities in which you have got bills in Fast-Food restaurants. (by the way, everybody is free to participate :-) )

I have seen that NIG gives a ranking indicating how many times the word "Bar" or "Kebab" appears in the comment field.

Would it be possible to have an additional tool for the Burger-tour with the words "McDonald's", "McDo", "Quick", "BurgerKing" (my favourite  ), "Hesburger" (very great, too, but unfortunately too far away for me), "KFC" ?

thank you in advance

Hi,

I've noted there is a small bug on NIG stats... can u pls try to correct it?

The question is easy: NIG is not CaSe SeNsItIvE

In location stats "Frankfurt am main" and "Frankfurt am Main" (this is just an example) are recognized as two different cities

Thanks

don't you think it could be interesting to give the possibility for everybody to choose the words more meaningful?
it could be possible to specify some word (5-10?) into the local configuration of NIG

Maybe a keywordlist that can added seperatly.

In case of the Burger-tour: "McD", "Wendy's"

Please be aware, that the zipcode doesnt't cover the districts 100% - but the following list is better than nothing ;-)

I agree

Thanks for this Austrian codes.

I am still working on the Austrian codes - but it's very complicated. My only source is Wikipedia, where zipcodes are mentioned at Gemeinden and Ortschaften of Austria level. There are more than 2500 of these municipalities, I got the codes ready for 880 municipalities

But I will give a postreply when my work is finished (could take some time), so the list now in NIG is better than nothing

EDIT january 2008 - I haven't finished the Austrian codes - but I am still working on my masterpiece - All cities and municipalities of Germany

This is a clever way of solving my problem ; good suggestion.

Nice, but why are you the only one in this ranking? Or is the real list hidden somewhere? (I got lots of fastfood locations, you know... :) )

BTW: Is there a single Wendy's restaurant in the euro zone? :o

Counties of Croatia

Post by robag »

Hello,
I have made a txt file with the Counties of Croatia for NIG. If someone is interested in it I can Mail it.
If someone would put it on his homepage that everybody who wants can download it - it would be fine.
